Storage and Stability
BIOFAC Liver Hydrolysate should be stored in original and tightly closed containers at room temperature (not exceeding 25°C). The product is a hygroscopic powder that easily absorbs humidity from the air.

Liver function
The liver is your largest internal organ, weighing about 1.5 kg in adults. It is a vital organ necessary for survival, and it is the primary organ involved in the detoxification of drugs, alcohol and poisons. Liver cells, hepatocytes, have multiple enzyme systems which breakdown foreign molecules, called xenobiotics, into water soluble compounds that can be excreted. About 90-98 per cent of alcohol that you drink is broken down in your liver and the average person will take about an hour to process 10 grams of alcohol, which is
the amount of alcohol in a standard drink.

We manufacture our Liver Hydrolysate from finely minced, frozen livers. The raw livers used for our production come only from slaughterhouses, which are under permanent and strict veterinary control.
Thanks to special lenient manufacturing process, our Liver Hydrolysate contains high level of various vitamins (Thiamine, Riboflavin, Nicotinic Acid, Folic Acid, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin).

Regulatory Compliance
- Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Danish EPA) has made a categorization of BIOFAC as to an instruction No. 6 of 2004 on Differential Environmental Review and assessed that BIOFAC is placed in Category 1 (the best category) because of the high level of systematism and high level of regulatory compliance.
- Danish Working Environment Authority has assigned BIOFAC with a green Smiley, indicating that BIOFAC has no issues with the Working Environment Authority, providing a high level of health and safety.
